Apostille Services

Fast, Accurate, and Hassle-Free Document Authentication

An Apostille is a certificate issued by the California Secretary of State (or the appropriate state agency) that authenticates the signature, title, and seal of a public official on a document. This certificate allows the document to be legally recognized in another country that is a member of the 1961 Hague Convention.

An apostille does not verify the content of the document—only that the signature and official capacity of the signer are valid. Apostilles are most often needed for personal or business documents being used abroad for legal, educational, or corporate purposes.

What Does an Apostille Certify?

  • The authenticity of the signature on the document

  • The capacity of the public official who signed it

  • The seal or stamp on the document (e.g., notary public seal)

Once apostilled, your document is ready to be used internationally in Hague Convention countries without further legalization.
